6 Top Recruits & Prospects watch Duke Dominate UNC

For Duke Basketball fans, very few things are more pleasing than Saturday night’s 82-50 drubbing of rival North Carolina.  However, it turns out that there is more good news for Duke fans.  In addition to the win over UNC, Blue Devil supporters will be pleased to know that 6 top recruits and prospects were in the house for the victory over the Tar Heels.  Attendees from the class of 2010 included Kyrie Irving, Michael Haynes, and Josh Hairston.  Also attending were Michael Gbinije and TJ Warren from the class of 2011.  The final attendee was highly ranked recruit Shabazz Muhammad from the class of 2012.  All in all, the victory over UNC was a great night for Duke Basketball in more ways than one.

  1. Interesting. I heard that Marshall Plumlee was there as well. Can you confirm that?

  2. It’s also interesting to note that even though he was in Louisville, Quincy Miller made several comments about the game via his twitter page. The collection of talent is even more impressive when you consider that Austin Rivers wanted to be there but was playing in a state championship game.

  3. I have nothing personally against Florida, but since they’re about to miss the NCAA tournament yet again, I imagine that can only help turn Rivers our way?
