Carrick Felix Commits to Duke!

It’s official! Carrick Felix, the 6’6” wing from the College of Southern Idaho, is the newest member of Duke Basketball’s class of 2010.  Felix arrived in Durham Sunday night and met with admissions yesterday where he was cleared to enroll at Duke.  Not long after, Felix announced that he was officially ready to join the Blue Devils   Felix comes to Duke as a junior college transfer and will have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Duke now has 4 commitments for the class of 2010 including Felix, Kyrie Irving, Josh Hairston, and Tyler Thornton.

6 Top Recruits & Prospects watch Duke Dominate UNC

For Duke Basketball fans, very few things are more pleasing than Saturday night’s 82-50 drubbing of rival North Carolina.  However, it turns out that there is more good news for Duke fans.  In addition to the win over UNC, Blue Devil supporters will be pleased to know that 6 top recruits and prospects were in the house for the victory over the Tar Heels.  Attendees from the class of 2010 included Kyrie Irving, Michael Haynes, and Josh Hairston.  Also attending were Michael Gbinije and TJ Warren from the class of 2011.  The final attendee was highly ranked recruit Shabazz Muhammad from the class of 2012.  All in all, the victory over UNC was a great night for Duke Basketball in more ways than one.
